November for unlawful possession of opium. It is understood that he is a confederate of one Sidney L. Cohm whom the Metropolitan Police reported upon on the 27th. July last under number 907690.

The present case has been reported by the Captain Superintendent

of Police to Scotland Yard under date the 24th. December.

Heckrath parted from the women in Hongkong and proceeded to Shanghai by himself; but he rejoined them there and the party have gone on to Japan. Heckrath announced his intention of reaching England some time in February via the United States

of America.
